Trail Conditions
Annapurna Circuit Trail Conditions - June 2026
Early monsoon conditions mean trekkers should plan extra buffer days, check landslide-prone road sections, and avoid rushing high-pass schedules.

What happened?
The Annapurna Circuit is entering the wetter part of the travel year, when lower trail sections and road transfers can be affected by rain, muddy paths, and local delays.
Why does it matter to travelers?
Travelers often underestimate how much a short road disruption can affect a trekking itinerary. A delayed jeep, blocked road, or wet trail day can compress acclimatization time before higher sections.
Who is affected?
Independent trekkers, guided groups, motorcycle travelers, and visitors connecting Pokhara with Besisahar, Manang, Jomsom, or Mustang should pay closest attention.
What should visitors do?
Keep at least one spare day, confirm current road conditions locally before leaving Pokhara or Kathmandu, carry rain protection, and avoid treating Thorong La or high-altitude days as fixed-date targets.
